What is happening down there makes me very angry, the people without homes, without livelihoods, and the indifference they face from the bureaucracy. You've done so much important documentation of buildings. I've stumbled across your blog multiple times.

I intend to go down to Christchurch once I have the money to paint. In the meantime, bloggers like yourself have done so much. Thank you. Thank you for showing the world this sort of horrible loss.

Matty Smith
Wellingtonkiwi_teahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03045170174913260151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488710655024487548.post-45360043230180694362011-03-30T07:38:38.251+13:002011-03-30T07:38:38.251+13:00It's a sad loss for the city Sandy but I'm...It's a sad loss for the city Sandy but I'm hoping there may be a chance of rebuilding - though that would take many years I'm sure.Adrienne Rewihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04187339453802536156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488710655024487548.post-47444502136895904612011-03-29T23:49:54.192+13:002011-03-29T23:49:54.192+13:00My bottom lip quivers everytime i see photos ... i...My bottom lip quivers everytime i see photos ... i've seen many now of the lovely Chambers in this condiion and no matter how many i see the shock is still huge... we've lost so so so much :((((

SSandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15596980842958337137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488710655024487548.post-87580089574056113582011-03-28T11:43:42.094+13:002011-03-28T11:43:42.094+13:00Yes, it was marvellous. These photographs of the interior...Dreadful indeed. These photographs of the interior of the Stone Chamber prior to the earthquakes really don't do it justice at all. It was a remarkable piece of architecture and detailed to within an inch of its life - though not ostentatiously. - AdrienneAdrienne Rewihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04187339453802536156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488710655024487548.post-43660662456796693242011-03-28T10:52:32.188+13:002011-03-28T10:52:32.188+13:00DreadfulDreadfulPaulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08024440694895271805noreply@blogger.com
