Dolly Dearest

When I was a child my mother always said I had an 'overactive imagination' - whatever that means. I prefer to think of it as creative thinking. Either way, am I the only person who finds something inherently spooky and lifelike about this doll? I am just about as intrigued by old dolls' heads as I am by mannequins. Perhaps my mother was on to something.
