Observations of Life in New Zealand (and sometimes beyond) through art, architecture, photography, travel, tourism, design, food, the quirky, the bizarre, the comedic - a few of the things I am passionate about. This is my world - a world of contemplations, observations and small adventures.
I am absolutely with you on the subject of hedges - they're such beautiful objects, always threatening to escape into total treedom but restrained by careful humans. I love the smell of them too - macrocarpa on a hot summer day! Mmmmm... and the way you could stand on the top when you were a child and walk along, sort of bouncing on the branches. The Opawa hedge is a gem. What a marvellous eye you have, Ms Rewi!
