I've just spent the last two hours sorting photographs and I came upon this perfect-blue day at Te Kaio Bay on Banks Peninsular, about an hour from Christchurch. As I sit here now, shivering in the winter cold, it's hard to imagine a day so blue, so clear, so beautiful.
