Of all the markets I frequent, I think Lyttelton Farmer's Market is one of the best. I was here early last weekend; the crowds were yet to arrive, but still it was interesting and colourful. The stalls here are always reliable and filled with goodies and because the market is held within a contained area, it's always packed - and with an interesting crowd of people. www.lytteltonfarmersmarket.co.nz
Observations of Life in New Zealand (and sometimes beyond) through art, architecture, photography, travel, tourism, design, food, the quirky, the bizarre, the comedic - a few of the things I am passionate about. This is my world - a world of contemplations, observations and small adventures.

Morning Market

The Lyttelton Farmers' Market is definitely the best of its kind in Christchurch.
It has a fabulous range of organically grown vegetables, fresh breads and baked goods to die for, handmade chocolates, fresh cheeses and pesto, condiments and coffee.
I went over there again yesterday to introduce my cousin to the quirky community atmosphere that permeates this bustling Saturday morning market on the hill. www.lytteltonfarmersmarket.co.nz
