There's something immensely satisfying about photographing fresh bread and I was in my element at Riccarton Bush Farmers' Market this morning. There were at least four different bread stalls there, all handcrafting different tasty treats. For my own consumption I settled on something, sweet, delicious and Dutch - with a name that was completely unpronouncable!Observations of Life in New Zealand (and sometimes beyond) through art, architecture, photography, travel, tourism, design, food, the quirky, the bizarre, the comedic - a few of the things I am passionate about. This is my world - a world of contemplations, observations and small adventures.

Market Gets Summery
Nice to see the Riccarton Farmers' Market in its summer guise - the produce tents now lined up under the giant oaks - all fresh spring green - in Dean's Bush.

Sweet Tooth
When it's only 7-degrees outside, it seems only fair that we indulge ourselves.
These little treats from The Cupcake Collection, a Christchurch company creating bite-sized edible works of art. It seems like a happy marriage of interests to me.
