Sockburn, Christchurch. Dec. 2008. Ajr This may well be one of the ugliest churches I’ve seen in a while but I was drawn to its big red cross standing boldly etched into a bright blue sky. It’s Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church at Sockburn in Christchurch – not the prettiest architecture but it certainly stands out.
