It’s become a bit of ritual – a spot of church architecture for my Sunday blog. This is the rather imposing front view of St Paul’s Presbyterian (Trinity Pacific) Church in central Christchurch. I love the way the giant yew trees have ‘risen to the occasion’ and sprouted luxuriously to match the bulk of this hefty building. It was designed by S.C. Farr and built in 1877 and I think you’ll agree, it looks like it’s going to be around for a good few years to come.
